CRYOLIST is an unmoderated electronic mail distribution list intended
to communicate information between those studying and with interests
in snow and ice. CRYOLIST is very low traffic, generating an average
of 2 emails per week.
CRYOLIST is intended for communicating information of interest to those
studying snow and ice. Opinions stated through CRYOLIST are those of
the message author and are not necessarily shared by the list
administrator , the University of Colorado, the International
Glaciological Society, or any other affiliated
or non-affiliated organization.
CRYOLIST is unmoderated. This means that messages sent to the list will
be automatically forwarded to all members of the list. Examples of inappropriate
messages are messages not immediately pertaining to the study of the cryosphere,
non-professional messages, messages which are directed at one or a few
individuals, or messages that may be offensive to certain individuals
or groups. No virus warnings or chain mails will be tolerated. Only subscribers
are able to post to the list. Any posts that are deemed unfit for the
list will result in the immediate removal of the sender.
This email list is
likely not the
only list of interest to our subscribers. Still, I do not forward emails
from other lists to CRYOLIST. If you wish to receive information from
CLIMLIST
or ArcticInfo, please
subscribe to those individually.
Replies to a message from the list are automatically sent to the original
sender. This should avoid the problem of email loops and lengthy dialogs
being sent to the list. If you wish for your response to be seen by
all members of the list, send it to the list address (cryolist@lists.colorado.edu).
Web-based
forms are provided for subscribing,
unsubscribing,
and modifying your
subscription. There are also pages about how to post
messages to the list, who to contact
with questions, and a list of related
links. Please suggest more links to add to this or any of my
pages by sending me an email.
CRYOLIST is maintained and administered by Todd
Albert.
