Privacy Policy

Lyme Tracker is built on a simple principle: your health information is yours. It never leaves your phone, and it never comes to us.

The short version

We don’t collect any personal information (PII).
We don’t collect your symptom data — or any data at all.
Everything you log stays on your device.
No account is required. There’s no sign-up and no login.
You control your data, your exports, and what you share with your doctor.

Information we collect

None. Lyme Tracker does not collect, transmit, or store any of your information on our servers — because there are no servers. We do not gather personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, or location, and we do not gather the symptoms, notes, triggers, or health details you record in the app.

Where your data lives

Everything you enter — symptoms, severity, dates, notes, triggers, and any other details — is stored locally on your device and nowhere else. It is not uploaded to the cloud, backed up to our systems, or shared with us or any third party.

Because your data lives only on your device, it is tied to that device. If you delete the app or reset your device without first exporting your data, that data is permanently gone. We have no copy and cannot recover it for you.

No account needed

Lyme Tracker has no accounts, no sign-up, and no login. You don’t give us an email address or create a password, and there is no profile of you anywhere. You can start using the app immediately, and we never know who you are.

You control sharing and exports

You decide if, when, and with whom your information is shared. Nothing is shared automatically. If you choose to export your data — for example, to bring a summary to a doctor’s appointment — that export happens on your device, at your direction, using your phone’s own sharing tools.

Once you send an export to someone else (such as your physician or a caregiver) or hand it to another app, this policy no longer governs what happens to that copy. How that recipient or app handles the data is up to them and their own privacy practices.

Analytics and tracking

We don’t use analytics, advertising, trackers, or third-party SDKs to monitor how you use the app. There are no cookies, no device fingerprinting, and no usage reporting sent back to us.

Children’s privacy

Because Lyme Tracker collects no data at all, it collects no data from children. Nothing you or anyone else enters is transmitted to us or to any third party.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Any future change will keep the same commitment: your health data stays on your device and under your control.
